okay my etek broke because the grip screws were not PE they were something else. they were too long, therefore they hit and crushed the solinoid because the solonoid is between the grips. when i got it i didnt know anything about P.E yes i tightened the grip screws after chnaging the battery. how was i suppost to know that they would crush the solinoid. birdmans ego 6 had the same problem from a previous owner.

it partly was my fault but how was i suppost to know that they were the wrong screws when i got it.

i am under warranty. i just need to go to pbc to get another one when i get a chanch

That's one of the upgrades on the ETEK3, there are metal receivers that the screw goes into so the solenoid can't be hit.
